Idham Rahmanarto (West Java, Bogor 1989) is a freelance photographer and GIS surveyor. Graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering. His first encounter with photography started in 2007, bought an analog camera then join club, came to places and attended some exhibitions. He began to learned the existence of visual prowess, on how pictures would connect and tells us in various ways. Late of 2010, he built proximity with journalism, and of course photography as a medium, started by joining ANTARA, the gallery of photojournalism. He then finished his study at ANTARA by presenting his final project, a photo essay about " 'muro-ami' of the java sea."
His work has been featured in several photo books and exhibition mostly in Jakarta.
He is currently live in Jakarta and also available for commisions and assignment to cover issues in Indonesia.
